| David Shannon with support from
IPE won the highly competitive 2001 FISC European Series in his 1972
MG Midget. This completed a sensational hat trick as David was also
champion in 1999 and 2000. |

Highlights of the 2001 season were wins at Snetterton
and Zandvoort, and the fact that David never finished a race outside
of the top three. A piece of "INSPIRED" driving we believe!
The prize giving was in Holland in January 2002 where David collected
even more silverware.
It was a double celebration since IPE employee Mark Hope finished
fifth overall in the same championship in his 1971 MG Midget.

The 2002 season is a further challenge
for both Dave and Mark as they compete in the highly competitive newly
formed European Mini Champ trophy.
