Go Inspire was challenged to demonstrate how an offline communication could be used to support the digital channels, in a new and innovative way, in order to achieve a key business objective of converting more abandoned baskets and growing Average Transactional Value .

Strategy.

  • highly targeted automated daily mailing targeting non-responding customers
  • online behavioural data applied to dynamically personalise relevant browsed products, product categories
  • cross-category promotion to encourage additional spend and increase basket value
  • mailing touched down within 72 hours of the online product abandonment

Results.

  • Basket completions increased by 14% of which 100% was incremental revenue
  • Response rates of those who were mailed were +6%.
  • Average Item Value of those mailed was +8%.
