GI Solutions Group, now Go Inspire Group, has been handed a prestigious award in recognition of its practices and achievements in helping its staff get home safely at the end of the working day.
The Group has achieved a President’s (12 consecutive Golds) Award in the internationally-renowned RoSPA Health and Safety Awards, the longest-running industry awards scheme in the UK. They will be presented with the award during a ceremony at Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel on Wednesday 4th July 2018.
The RoSPA Awards scheme, which receives entries from organisations around the world, recognises achievement in health and safety management systems, including practices such as leadership and workforce involvement.
Patrick Headley, CEO of Go Inspire Group, said: “The health and safety of our employees is a top priority. It is fantastic to be recognised by a prestigious body such as RoSPA for the hard work our team puts in to achieve and consistently maintain such high standards.”
Julia Small, RoSPA’s head of qualifications, awards and events, said: “The RoSPA Awards are the most highly-respected in the health and safety arena, with almost 2,000 entrants every year, and allow organisations to prove excellence in the workplace, demonstrating a commitment to the wellbeing of not only employees but all those who interact with it.”
The majority of awards are non-competitive and mark achievement at merit, bronze, silver and gold levels. Gold medals, president’s awards, orders of distinction and the Patron’s Award are presented to organisations sustaining the high standards of the gold level over consecutive years.
Competitive awards go to the best entries in 24 industry sectors including construction, healthcare, transport and logistics, engineering, manufacturing and education.
There are specialist awards for health at work, environmental management and fleet safety, and excellence trophies for the best international, new entry, workforce involvement and organisation operating or based in Scotland. RoSPA’s top accolade is the Sir George Earle Trophy.
Headline sponsor of the RoSPA Awards 2018 is NEBOSH – the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health – for the 13th consecutive year.

Go Inspire is awarded Industrial Digital Printer of the Year 2018
Go Inspire was awarded Industrial Digital Printer of the Year at this year’s Print Week Awards!
Go Inspire was also highly commended in the following categories: Direct Mail Printer of the Year and Customer Service Team of the Year, missing out to respectively Geoff Neal Group and Impress Print Services.
The judges commented “Go Inspire got the balance right to win for the first time a category in which data handling, variables, text and images are as important as the overall quality of the printed product. Work included monster mailings for Waitrose, Sky and Pets at Home, which sends 2.6 million VIP club members a highly personalised, bi-monthly DM piece. The number of permutations is staggering, but all were delivered seamlessly thanks to impeccable use of powerful loyalty data and expertise in print, making this project and Go Inspire Group, undisputed gold standards for industrial digital print.”
