Persuasive Offers

Much has been published recently in the UK news media of ‘blood on the high street’. Online sales are portrayed as the chief culprit for undermining the retailer’s business model, and much reporting on the subject has an apocalyptic flavour.

Against this background, this short report looks at the nation’s largest retail community – supermarkets – in order to discuss aspects of how we shop in them, and what would persuade us to move some of our custom between supermarkets.
